Sports and Grades Policy
In order to play sports for I.C. School a
student must maintain a C average in all subjects. If a student obtains
a F in any subject, he/she may not play sports until the grade is
raised. Conduct must be at least Satisfactory.
Report Cards
Report cards are issued four times a year at the close of each
quarter.
Kindergarten students do not receive a report card until the second quarter. Parents are given a verbal progress report at their first quarter conference.
Conferences
Parent-Teacher conferences are scheduled for the end of
the first and second quarters. The first conference is required for
every family; the second one will be held as needed at the request of
the parents or teacher. Other conferences may be arranged at any time
throughout the year. Please call the office or contact your child's
teacher to arrange an appointment.
Parents are encouraged to contact their child's teacher at any time that there is a concern about academic progress or discipline matters. Most questions and concerns can be resolved by communicating with the teacher. If after talking with the teacher, the concerns are not resolved, the parent may request a conference with the principal and the teacher. The superintendent at the Diocesan office should only be contacted if there is no resolution at the local level.
